Collection of Information

Matchbox Business receives and stores profile information, information you enter on our web site or have provided to us in registration or administration processes.
No personal information is collected when you browse our website anonymously. Personally identifiable information such as name, and contact details (e-mail addresses, telephone numbers) are only collected when you make an enquiry, place an order, or register to use our Client Member or Service Provider sections. All other information is required as part of the registration process (company name, project description and password) will be requested from you online.
We use this information to provide you with more customized services like profile pages, updates, and content, direct mail, and business opportunities, and it may appear on your Matchbox Business profile that is viewable by others. You understand that, by creating an account, Matchbox Business and others will be able to identify you by your Matchbox Business profile, and you allow Matchbox Business to use this information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use Agreement. We may also ask for your credit card details if you purchase certain Matchbox Business services.
We collect company or project information (Post a Request) as it relates to the services provided and in order to achieve a match between members. Such information may include; business category, particular skills & experience, profile building information such as; CV/Brochure, images, logos, and business location or reach, the type of services provides or requested, business relationship success factors & remuneration preferences.
Information collected is kept for as long as it is needed to service your account and provide services and products requested by you. When your information is no longer needed for these purposes we will destroy or permanently render anonymous any information held about you.

Use and Disclosure of Information

The primary purpose in collecting information from you is to enable us to fulfil our business commitments to you in providing business matching services. We may use the information you provide to help improve the services we deliver to you, measure your interest in Matchbox Business services, inform you of other Matchbox Business products and services or to comply with requirements under the law.
We may share your information with other parties (such as trainers, suppliers, agents and business alliance partners) who provide various services to Matchbox Business. Direct Marketing

Subject to obtaining your prior consent, Matchbox Business may use your personal information for the purpose of providing you with special offers or promotions, you may find of interest, important changes to the functionality or content of our web site, or information on new products or services to be offered by Matchbox Business or our business partners. Matchbox Business tracks the open rate of your e-mails to help improve the quality and relevance of offers and communication messages. You can also opt out of promotional messages by sending a request to Matchbox Business. Please be aware that you cannot opt out of receiving service messages from Matchbox Business.

Rights to Access, Correct, or Delete Your Information, and Closing Your Account

You can change your Matchbox Business information at any time by editing your profile, deleting content that you have posted, or by closing your account. You can also ask us for additional information we may have about your account. Search Function

You can search for Projects within login sections of the website or search Service Providers’ Profiles. For example, you can search Service Providers with particular expertise or experience, location, project size or business type. You can also find information about companies. We use personal information from Matchbox, including Member profiles, content, and Company Pages, to inform and refine our search functionality.

Liability Disclaimer

Matchbox Business will use all reasonable endeavours to protect and keep confidential any personally identifiable information in its possession in relation to its Members, subscribers or website visitors. If any confidential or personally identifiable information is accessed by a third party, whether by negligence or otherwise of Matchbox Business, its agents, suppliers, contractors, related bodies corporate, affiliates or associated parties, to the extent permitted by law, Matchbox Business is not liable for any loss, damage, costs, liability or other form of contribution.

Testimonials and Advertisements Placed through Matchbox Business Ads

We invite Members and Visitors to provide testimonials or advertise on our site. If you provide any testimonials about our goods or services or place advertisements through the Matchbox Business ‘advertise with us’ page, we may post those testimonials and advertisements on the website or use them in Direct Marketing commutations to promote the services provided. Testimonials and advertisements may include your name and other personal information that you have provided.
